Get to Know Me
I’ve had a lifelong appreciation for a well-made pocketknife. What started as a serious passion for collecting antique knives back in the early ’90s eventually turned into something more. In 1998, I organized my first knife show, and it was an experience that ran strong every year until 2007. Those shows weren’t just about the knives, they were about the people. I had the chance to meet and build friendships with some of the best handmade knife makers in the country.
Over time, my focus shifted. While antique knives still have their charm, my heart is now in handcrafted knives, especially slip joint folders. The artistry, precision, and pride these makers put into every blade is something that deserves to be shared, and it’s what led me to start this business.
My goal is simple: support and promote the skilled craftsmen behind today’s best handmade pocket knives. I work with a select group of established slip joint knife makers, men I know personally and trust for both their character and their craftsmanship. These are hardworking guys who take pride in every detail, and I’m honored to help get their work into the hands of people who appreciate quality.
I also keep an eye out for up-and-coming makers who are putting in the time, showing talent, and building a name for themselves. But I’m particular about what I offer. I don’t just buy knives; I build relationships with the ones who make them so that I know exactly what I’m selling, and more importantly, who I’m selling it for.
If you buy a custom knife from me, you’re getting more than just a tool. You’re getting a piece of honest craftsmanship built to last by someone who cares about their work. And you can count on the fact that I stand behind every knife I sell.
Thanks for being here. I appreciate your interest and your support of hardworking knife makers.
